Fourth of July 2016

Last year I blogged my family’s Fourth of July at Disney, and now we’re back again! It may be silly, but I absolutely love these posts. I get to look back on what I’ve already done and see how much I’ve grown and changed as an artist since then (and yes, I said basically the same thing in this post… but it’s still true).

This was the Taramykin family’s sixth annual Fourth at Disney, a tradition with which I am crazy in love and for which I am so thankful. This year was the first (that I remember) that there was no end-of-the-world Florida thunderstorm in the evening. Instead, the skies were clear, the sunset was magnificent, and the fireworks actually started on time.

Below you’ll find the photos from my night broken down into a few sections (we covered a lot of ground in just a few hours). First, the sunset. Yes, it gets its own section. It deserves it. Then we have the fireworks, the Main Street Electrical Parade, and finally, some shots of the Magic Kingdom between the hours of 1 and 3 in the morning.

God, I love this holiday. Happy Fourth, everyone!
